As recently announced during the UNIDO conference in Vienna, Germany intends to open a Sustainalbe Chemistry Center. This is a clear sign that politics and economy have started to put a stronger focus on Green Chemistry. DexLeChem has already recognized this importance at an early stage and offers different services for the implementation of more sustainable routes of synthesis for manufacturers of fine chemicals. As Jost pointed out during the conference the opening of a sustainable chemistry center by the Federal Environmental Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) will be a positive signal for Green Chemistry in Germany.
